A pastor was very worried about his church. Once upon a time his church was the best and loved in that locality. Now it was going down-hill. The members lost respect for each other and were acting sel- fish.
Not being able to bear the situ- ation the pastor went to an experienced senior pastor. The senior pastor thought for a while and answered: “God Himself is residing in your church, but you people have not recognized Him or respected Him. Then how will you flourish?”
The pastor returned to his church and told the members what the senior pastor said. The members were surprised and shaken up. From then on they thought one among them must be God and started treating everyone with utmost respect and love.
In a short time the church regained its good name in that area.
That God lives in each of us is an undeniable truth. We must treat others with great respect and love because God lives in each person.
