A Guru was travelling with his disciples. By evening they were in a village. They requested the village people for food and bedsheets. But the villagers gave them no help. The team suffered in hunger and cold. Morning when the team left the village the Guru prayed, “Lord, please bless these people. Let them live here comfortably always.”
The next evening they were in another village. The people received them lovingly and provided them food and comfortable stay. The next morning when they left, the Guru prayed, “Lord, scatter these people. Let them be scattered to many places in the world.”
The disciples were surprised and asked the Guru the reason behind his prayers. The Guru explained, “Bad people should not influence others. Good people should go everywhere and influence others for good. People will catch your spirit— good or bad.”
Jesus told us to go into all the world. When you grow up, you should choose to live where people are very bad and attempt to change the evil society.
