After a wedding dinner, all five in the family took ill with severe stomach ache and vomiting. All went to see the doctor. The doctor was worried at their condition. He gave an injection to each and said they have to stay back in his clinic till evening. By evening all of them were alright. They entered the doctor’s room. The father said, “Doctor, five of us from a family came and you have charged all the five for an injection. You could have given some concession.” Mother said, “Doctor, the injection was painful.” The elder son said, “Doctor, the beds in your clinic are not very comfortable.” His sister was too shy to speak. The youngest Rajesh said, “Doctor, I came with severe stomach ache and vomiting. I am alright now. Thank you very much.” The doctor’s face lit up. He said, “You are the only person to say thank you. God bless you.”
How often we forget to thank God or people for whatever they do. Let us decide not to complain but to be thankful.
