A crow was very happy until she saw a swan. “How beautiful the swan is! She must be the happiest person on earth. I am so ugly,” she thought. So the crow asked the swan, “Aren’t you very happy that you are so beautiful?” The swan said, “Yes, I was, till I saw the parrot. It has green body and red beak. Will it not be wonderful to have two colours?” So they both went to the parrot. The parrot said, “But look at the peacock so attractive with many colours.” So the three went to the zoo and aired their view to the peacock in the cage. Immediately large drops of tears fell from the eyes of the peacock. She said, “How I envy all of you, out in the open breathing the fresh air of freedom. Beauty means nothing when you are trapped behind bars.”
The three learned their lesson that they should be contented the way God had made them and flew back home peacefully.
You are God’s wonderful creation. Be happy as you are. Never compare yourself with anyone.
