A lion lived in a cave. A bear was his minister and a tiger was his counsellor. One day the king thought, “The bear and tiger respect me. But I want to know if other animals too respect me.” So the lion left the cave, walked into the jungle and roared. Animals scattered in all directions — the rabbits, deers, buffalos, foxes. The lion was very happy. He came back to his cave and told his minister and coun- sellor what happened. They told the lion, “Respected king, this is not respect. This is fear. All animals will come close to you if you love them and embrace them. That is true leadership.”
Sometimes we think when we shout at people and give orders we are respected. No, we are respected when we respect others.
