A villager went to a city and stayed in a hotel. In the bathroom he found two taps on which were written “hot,” and “cold.” He was excited when he got hot water from the “hot” tap and cold water from the “cold” tap. He immediately went to the shop and bought two taps marked “hot” and “cold.”
He came home and told his wife, “See, what I have brought for you. I will fix these in the bathroom. If you turn the “hot” tap you’ll get hot water and if you turn the “cold” tap, you’ll get cold water.” I need not speak about their disappointment later.
How we think we can get God’s blessings just like that! There is so much behind. We need to obey His commands, walk according to His will and please Him in every way before we can turn the “Blessing” tap.
