Lucky was an eight year old boy. He was keenly listening to the preacher in the church. He was very moved by what the preacher spoke and decided to give his life over to Jesus. When the offering time came, an elder moved around from row to row, from person to person with a plate in his hand. When he came to Lucky he asked the elder to lower the plate. When he lowered, Lucky said, “Still lower, still lower” until the plate was lowered to the floor. Then lucky stepped on to the plate!
We can give our money or things to God. But more than anything we must first give ourselves to the Lord.
