A master sent his car driver to buy two lottery tickets — one for him and one for the driver. When the driver brought the tickets the master asked him to keep both the tickets with him. So the driver wrote his name lightly on one and his master’s on the other.
On the date of the draw the driver found that his master’s ticket had won the lottery. “Change the names,” his wife suggested. But the driver said, ‘No.’ He took his master’s lottery ticket to him and told him that it had won the first prize. The master appreciated his honesty and gave half the amount to his driver. Honesty pays!
