Once upon a time there lived a rich king called Devendra. His minister Ragavan had a very irritating habit. Whatever may happen he’d say, “All for good.” This upset Devendra very badly.
One day Devendra went to hunt, taking some of his soldiers and Ragavan with him. While hunting, a big thorn went into the King’s foot. The soldiers removed the thorn, cleaned the wound and put medicine. The king moaned in pain. Ragavan said, “It’s all for good.” Devendra was furious and asked two of his soldiers to immediately take Ragavan to the prison.
This was promptly done and the king continued his hunting. Suddenly from the forest some tribals emerged and caught the king. They bound his hands and feet and took him to sacrifice to their god. All the soldiers ran away seeing the big crowd. The tribals danced around their god and was about to kill the king when one of them shouted, “Look, there’s a wound in his foot. We cannot sacrifice this man to our god. The sacrifice must be flawless.” So they let the king go.
The king reached his palace. He ordered Ragavan to be brought out and apologized to him.
God plans our life. He can even turn bad things that happen to us for our own good. So trust Him in all situations.
