There was a very righteous king. He had a bell hung in front of his palace. Anyone who needed justice could ring the bell. Immediately the king would enquire into the matter and justice would be done.
One day a cow was found ringing the bell. When the king called his ministers to find out what the matter was, he was told that his son, the prince ran his chariot over a calf and the calf died. It was the mother of the calf that was ringing the bell. On hearing this the king ordered his son to be brought and laid on the street. The king sat on his chariot and ran it over the boy that the boy died. The cow stopped ringing the bell.
This may be an extreme story. The lesson for us is that justice must be done to anyone to whom injustice has been done. God loves the just.
