It was raining. A man heard a knock on the door. He opened the door to find a lady standing there. She asked for an umbrella and promised to return it the next morning. The man had two umbrellas. One was a brand new one and the other was an old holey one. He wasn’t sure of getting his umbrella back and hence gave her the old one. The lady thanked him and left in the rain.
The next day morning there was a knock on the door and the man opened it. He found a royal palace guard standing there with his umbrella and a ‘Thank you’ note from Queen Elizabeth!
We are looking for Jesus in all the wrong places. He wanders the streets in disguise like a beggar, leper, old widow, stranger in need or a hungry kid. Do your best for them and you are doing it for Jesus!
