There were lot of rabbits and bunnies in a forest. They were afraid when the lion roared. They were scared when the python hissed. They ran away and hid when they saw a fox. They trembled at the sight of a tiger. One day they all got together. “We are not fit to live in this world. We are too timid to face life. Let us all go and together jump into the pond and die,” they said.
They all agreed on this and scampered to the pond. When they came to the edge of the pond the frogs sitting on the sides started jumping into the pond. “Oh, great” the rabbits exclaimed. “We are not the timidest creatures on earth. There are creatures more fearful than us. These frogs are afraid of us. When they are facing life courageously why not we?” So they decided not to kill themselves. They returned to the forest and lived happily handling one day at a time.
Be courageous to face life. God’s grace is sufficient for you.
